Dating Advice Tips For Men and Couples Experience

Looking for the best dating tips in today’s world? Keep reading, Kings; this is for you.

It’s tough out here. Being a man in today’s dating world can be very difficult considering the number of women available, the means of accessing these women (online dating), and the urge to rack up your presence in the dating scene. There are fewer rules in modern dating than there were in the past, and making up the rules as you go is inevitable. Years ago, it was anticipated that the man would make the first move, pay the bills, be in charge of the situation, and let’s be real – ghosting, as we know it,  didn’t exist. Men’s dating norms have become more liberal in recent years allowing for more room to do whatever tf you want, but that doesn’t mean men aren’t still under pressure.

Guys frequently struggle with flirting, dating, and relationships because they find it difficult to seek help and freely discuss these topics with peers. The funny thing is, many men do not seek dating advice from anyone, which leaves them frustrated. Sure, you may chat it up with your boys in a group setting, but how much do you really reveal? Going through endless cycles of figuring out the tips and tricks or even getting out of the friendzone can be a tremendous task, especially when you are for real interested in someone. Trying to find that special someone that matches your being is hard. I mean, I wish it could be revealed to me in a dream or something! But here’s the good news. A lot has changed, but there are still some tricks up this sleeve. Let’s work together to help you up your game and get that forever love you’re looking for. Here are some of our best dating tips for men.

Helpful Dating Advice and Tips For Men To Make Your Life Easier

Texting vs. calling, hiking vs. drinking, how many questions is too much? These days, the ins and outs of dating can be highly difficult for males, but many things haven’t changed. Being yourself at all times will attract the partner you desire, no matter what, but there are some real tangible items to get you to your partner in crime. So, to assist the lads out there, look at some of these dating tips for guys.

Invest in a fantastic scent:

This is top dating advice from women. Whether you move to kiss her hand or lean in for a hug, your scent is the next best thing to sweep her off her feet. So Kings, invest in smelling nice, and you’re already 10 steps ahead into your date.

Put yourself out there:

For my introverted Kings, meeting someone special becomes nearly impossible if you don’t put yourself out there. Yes, there are many online dating platforms, but it isn’t confirmed until y’both meet.

Dating is, by its very nature, a little nerve-wracking and hazardous. It necessitates being vulnerable and receptive to new experiences. Instead of fleeing a mile from everything, try to embrace it. Plus, your dates could feel the same, so make it count.

Get some ideas on where to meet your soulmate

Make a good first impression:

It may sound cliche, but first impressions go a long way.

Take a shower, spend some time on your hair, and dress in something clean, snazzy, and confidence-building – don’t forget to iron! When it comes to the first-date outfit, there are no hard and fast rules. A crisp white shirt, a dark sweater, nice jeans with a blazer, paired with a button-down shirt will go a long way. Get you some nice loafers or sneakers and be on your way to impress! Besides your physical appearance, establishing an excellent first impression entails being comfortable, confident, and approachable. Bring the total package that you are.

Put down your phone:

Gents, you could miss that special someone if you’re not paying attention. It’s common in today’s world to be overly dependent on your phone, but using it on a date is a big no-no. Using your phone during a date also signals to the other person that you aren’t entirely focused or interested in them. So unless you want them to get that message, make a real effort to not use your mobile device.  You can even ask your date to put their phone down too politely, all to create a good atmosphere for bonding.

Give her a compliment:

People work to get ready for a date, so take the time to truly compliment the other person! Something like “I like how your clothing brings out the color of your eyes, not just “Your dress is nice.” Always seek out the best in others, and you will find the best in yourself.

Leave a small amount of suspense:

When you’re getting to know someone, you don’t want to lay all your cards on the table or disclose your entire life narrative. The feeling of intrigue keeps them coming back for more, and it builds a relationship that sets you apart from the others.

Don’t waste your time with games:

We understand that you don’t want to appear needy, clingy, desperate, or overly enthusiastic. However, if you want to see her again, simply let her know. “At the end of the first date, you can weave it into the discussion (e.g., ‘This was a fantastic evening.’) Are you interested in meeting again soon?’) If the reply is yes, be sure to carry it on in your own style. Oh, and if it gets serious, make sure she meets you in the middle. If she likes you, she will put the effort in too. If you aren’t interested, be honest. No ghosting allowed. Remember maturity matters. When you do right by your date, you attract the best of what is to come to you. Don’t ruin that good karma!

Don’t do all the talking:

A simple yet forgotten dating tip – make sure you don’t do ALL the talking on your date. After all, if all goes well, you’ll have plenty of time in the future to share your stories and catch up. Pauses aren’t something to be afraid of; embrace them. Gather your ideas and keep the discussion interesting by asking your date basic questions. Also, demonstrate that you can pay attention and are interested in what your date has to say. It shows you care, you are attentive, and you are not all about you!

Don’t just be a good guy, be a great guy!

Every lady likes a gentleman. This dating tip is practically mandatory and may be applied to almost any situation. Manners and civility are free, but most people highly value them. Basic manners are highly beneficial in any scenario, so get to express them, please, and have your thank you’s ready. Show your manliness, but be calm. Women especially love confident men. So just bring you, with a little bit of spice. *wink*

Keep it light and basic:

This is probably one of the most essential dating tips, Kings. You want to get to know this person, not show off your pocket’s worth. 5 star restaurants and fancy outings are certainly nice, but something simple would be an amazing start. Ask your date what they like, what ambiance they enjoy, or what their favorite food is, and make your restaurant selection based on all of the above. Being considerate is suave and will immediately earn you some cool points! Coffee dates are becoming more popular too for first dates, just make sure to keep the dialogue lighthearted, amusing, and upbeat during your date. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not implying that important discussions should be avoided at all costs. I’m just sayin’ be a little more casual in the early stages of dating, so you can laugh and chat about positive things, and simply have some fun. Remember, suspense is good to keep things going.

So Kings, the most important dating advice is…to be you. Yes, you can polish some things up, but it’s much easier to find “the one” when you’re your authentic self. Not to mention, being you is pretty easy to maintain. Don’t allow yourself to be used, especially when dealing with women. Some women have hidden agendas, but know a woman will always make an effort when they’re into you. So if she’s not, adjust your crown and know your best to come is on the other side! It may be difficult to let go or change up quickly, but there are plenty of women out there, and you’re worth it.

I hope you picked up a thing or two. Feel free to always come back when you need help – we got you. Cheers!
