This week, on Monday I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Not really too thrilled to get the week going. I’m pretty sure it was because of work. The fact the lack of sunshine peering through my blinds in my bedroom has been limited the past couple of weeks #Chicagolife, and maybe just the world of PMS – hitting me hard. Either way, I’m here. I ended up not being focused enough to work and was blessed to have a much-needed break for the day.
I thought, well, my goal was to actually write. Get my thoughts out on paper. Clear my mind. Instead, I just laid and watched Till Death Do Us Part, a movie written and produced by Christopher B Stokes (the creator of the group Immature) – random I know. #Netflixlife. It was about a woman married to this so-called perfect man that ended up being a nut job!
I have always been very adamant about NOT wanting the perfect guy. Thankfully, I have one that is not perfect, but definitely perfect for me! I realized that once again when my husssband LOL returned home from a long day’s work and my eyes lit up, without him knowing it LOL
I am always happy to see him. Happy when he returns home and just happy to know he is in the other room – most likely watching basketball!
So I thought, although I watched a cray cray movie, and although I felt like my life was a mess, something was right. I have a partner in life that I like. I can easily look to the next day and think, as corny as it is – Every Day Is A New Day!
I do know experiences matter, and we should all be experiencing more!
I think we all deserve to feel that way – NOTE: It wasn’t a walk in the park to get to that – #moreonthislater.
