In Denver, dating may lead to many craft beer flights, infused gummies (wink wink), and gastronomic adventures. While we certainly think all of that sounds nice; breweries, bars, and restaurants aren’t the city’s only romantic options.

If you’re looking for something outside the box, you’ve come to the right place. Here are some tips on having the best fun dates in the beautiful city of Denver.

Stay at the Oxford Hotel for a Staycation:

Sit and de-stress during your staycation at Denver’s oldest hotel, the Oxford Hotel, located in the center of downtown. After you’ve settled up, head to the lobby for a classic martini at the Cruise Room, one of Denver’s most famous bars. Then, head over to Urban Farmer and grab you and yours a steak flight (yep, you read that correctly!). Plus, you won’t have to leave the hotel to do any of these things! So, why not?

Are you up for an adventure? The Fastest Zipline in Colorado:

Are you and yours thrill-seekers? Flying down some of the state’s longest and fastest zip lines would be an excellent first date idea, right?! It sure would set the thrill and mood – no doubt about it. It’s at Denver Zipline Tours, just 30 minutes outside of Denver.

They have a 1.5-mile zip line course with six separate zip lines where you can reach speeds of 60 mph while flying 250 feet above the earth. And if you’re up for a local Colorado beer, wine, munchies, and more, visit their adjoining bar.

Go-karting:

Adult go-karts are far faster than their child-sized counterparts. Race around the track to get your adrenaline pumping, and get your competition on. Both indoor and outdoor tracks are available, and Unser Karting’s gas-powered carts can achieve speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. The Trackside Tavern is a great place to unwind between triumphs. A typical race takes 5 minutes, with a small group of strangers and friends competing for first place. Riders are given a quick training session as well as a full-face helmet. Food, drinks, and a few additional games are usually available at most go-kart courses. Get to it!

Centenary of monster mini golf:

One of the most amazing mini golf experiences awaits you at monster mini-golf in Centennial. There are 18 holes that light in the dark. Bright black lights surround the mini-golf course, which is flanked by walls that come alive with funny and engaging pop culture artwork pertinent to the Denver and Colorado area. Because monster mini golf is indoors, it is open rain or shine, seven days a week. Suppose you’re searching for something other than golf? In that case, there is a large arcade and a virtual reality attraction that transfers players into monstrously fun adventures. Perfect for an all-in-one Denver date experience.

Water World is a great place to have a good time:

Going to Water World is one of the greatest date ideas in Denver if you want to have a lot of fun together. Water World is a water park located about 10 miles (16 kilometers) north of the city center. There are various slides and pools here, making it a delightful place. If you and your spouse enjoy this type of activity, this is a terrific site to visit together! It’s also a terrific way to stay cool while it’s sweltering outside. As a result, it’s also one of the most romantic summer activities in Denver. Boom!

Take cooking classes with your significant other:

Another romantic activity in Denver, and many other places for that matter, is taking cooking classes. You and yours can participate in lessons to learn new dishes and techniques. Because it is not something you do every day, this is a terrific activity to do with your family. It’s also convenient because you may take the outcomes of the cooking class home with you afterward, like using what you’ve learned to impress your partner. As a result, taking cooking lessons is an even better date idea in Denver. And Cook Street offers one of the best cooking classes. See. I told you we are here for you!

At The Brown Palace, The Spa:

The historic Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver is also home to the Spa; one of the city’s most opulent spas. Go ahead. I know you and your partner need some zen…together. This Spa welcomes visitors with a relaxing cascade that sets the tone for the facility’s renowned soaks, tucked away from the clamor of Brown’s magnificent lobby. The hotel’s private artesian well, located 750 feet below the lobby, is used in these energizing bathing treatments. What’s more romantic than getting your body right with your partner, and relaxing together afterward?

Vendome Bistro:

Flirting regulars will find plenty of fun and romance at this French-food temple in Larimer Square, which exudes ooh la la at every step. Bistro Vendome’s sunflower-yellow atmosphere, with its warm golden glow of flickering candlelight, whimsical blackboard menu, scarred hardwood flooring, and welcoming vibe, is an excellent date place tucked away in a secluded back alley.

The scarlet-canopied, foliage-flush Jardin is equally relaxing, particularly in the spring and summer when the flowers are in full bloom. The rich cuisine — duck confit, escargot, steak tartare, mussels, and fries — is a jubilee no matter where you decide to park your taste buds. In other words, it is another perfect place for a breathtaking first date.

We hope one of these amazing ideas makes it to your itinerary. When you are in dire need of a place to go, feel free to always come back to reference this list. Oh, and don’t forget to have fun. Hope you enjoyed the read. Let us know if your favorites are listed here, and if they are not, let us know that too! Cheers!
